This is author and illustrator Spencer van der Zee's first book. He is an artist and dad from Cincinnati, Ohio. "I wanted to create an educational book that was fun for kids and parents. The drawings in the book are simple and influenced by a couple of my favorite illustrators, Saul Steinberg and Shel Silverstein. The book is just a jumping off.
